About Poorvu Construction

Poorvu Construction Co., Inc. (PCCI), incorporated in 1944, originally built institutional buildings such as schools, hospitals, prisons and water treatment plants. In 1972, the focus changed to managing multifamily housing and office buildings. In addition to our own properties, we have completed condominium developments and managed office, condo and apartment projects for banks, condo associations and a trustee of the Boston Housing Court.

In 2004, we sold office and commercial properties to concentrate on multifamily business. The company now concentrates on the properties in its own portfolio.

We are a hands-on, family-owned business. After our real estate, our most valuable asset is our staff. Our experienced, full-time staff averages 16 years with the company. As with most small businesses and industries, consolidation in the real estate industry is the rule. PCCI remains an independent exception. We are proud of our history, our properties and our staff.
